Mom & Baby Fitness Classes

Join Lauren each week for a one hour class designed with the new mom in mind. The cardio component of the class will involve low-impact aerobics with the babies in their carriers to condition the heart, increase endurance and aid weight loss. Babies are also welcome to watch their moms sweat it out from a cozy position on the mats. The core conditioning component of the class will consist of using the resistance bands and your own body weight to strengthen the abdominals, back, shoulder and hip muscles. The class will end with yoga based stretches that focus on lengthening the muscles that become tight from carrying and feeding baby. Individual attention will be given through the class to help mom maintain good technique and form. Each class, moms will receive an informative handout focusing on post natal fitness. Classes are small so attention and instruction can be given to each mom and baby. After their workout, moms and babies are free to hang in the studio for a social hour.

Time: Wednesday from 2-3 pm followed by a social hour. Mothers can stay and chat afterwards.
